Good point. Getting YT to recommend your content (and boost suggested traffic) is all about producing content that might be appealing to people who don't know you.
A few ways maximize this:
a. as we discussed, prioritize types of content that already have higher suggested traffic
b. structure titles and thumbnails to be more accessible to people outside of your core audience. at the end of the day, high quality content that’s accessible to anyone in your niche is the best chance to get more suggested traffic
c. YT algo helps trending content (i.e. what's "hot", like Squid Game), so posting content that's generally relevant to people is another good tip

But... how do you get them to suggest more? If you're not being suggested, you can't force YouTube to do that more.
