A Free Present for YouTubers
Introducing our very own end-of-year gift to YouTubers: YouTube Rewind
Dear Creator Nation,
Hey, we appreciate you sticking around for two whole weeks. We know the whole “data” thing can be a little intimidating sometimes. We’re trying to make the business-side of YouTubing extremely accessible for anyone and everyone, whether you were the captain of your high school math team or a 5th-grade dropout. How are we doing so far? Can you take 30 seconds to tell us 1 thing you think could be better about this newsletter ⬇️
btw, still around till the end of the newsletter. we’re giving away free presents to any YouTuber!
Thanksgiving, like it does for many, provided us a moment of reflection both as individuals and as a company. First, we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from and interact with some of the hardest-working and most creative people in the world (destigmatize taking advice from youtubers 😤). Second, we’ve thought a lot about what exactly we’re trying to build long-term with AMA.
As we speak, our original agency model is like Google’s search engine: effective, reliable, and profitable. But we’re not satisfied here. We want to build services to help hundreds, even thousands of creators. While we’re currently revamping our product offerings, this task is impossible if no one knows who AMA is. This is why we’re building in public: provide content, value, and entertainment to creators so they know who we are and what we do.
Despite every entrepreneur’s fantasy that customers will come running to them, scaling is hardly a natural endeavor. Even Morning Brew, the goats of newsletters, digital content, and dogecoin memes, employed countless growth tactics to dominate the “finance-bro” attention market. They attribute one method in particular to their rapid growth: referral rewards, an incentive to get your customers to promote your products.
We’ve thought a lot about the type of value we can provide that differentiates AMA: something that includes data, visualization, and content. Without further ado, we’ve pumped to introduce our first reward for YouTubers:
🌯YouTube Rewind

💘 Why we loved it: BECAUSE I LOVE BABIES. Seriously. That thumbnail of the two tiny babies having a mini arm wrestling match made this video an automatic watch for me. Oh, we also loved and appreciated Colleen’s openness, vulnerability, and authentic excitement. Her ability to discuss her personal life without filter creates an incredibly welcoming and accessible environment for viewers (btw, the comment section in this video is the happiest we’ve ever seen).
